We love this place...the food is amazing. The staff are friendly and attentive....the other diners always seem to be arty and bohemian...it's a place for lovers

Of Armenian descent, and eaten Middle Eastern food all my life - visited Pomegrante for the first time yesterday. The food, presentation, ambience and hospitality were 'second to none' - can't wait to re-visit. Thank you for taking such care - it was a beautiful experience.

Beautiful meal this evening. Olives with a difference followed by a super feilah kebab, with delicious lamb. Service was excellent. Recommend it.

I can't quite put into words how much I love this restaurant. I eat out a lot and can honestly say the rice and lamb shank is one of the tastiest meals I've ever had. The portions are huge and very reasonably priced. Lovely wines, an excellent ambiance and wonderfully friendly staff, highly recommended to anyone. Top notch!!!

So wonderful enjoyed the whole experience from the minute walked in the staff were so welcoming the food was excellent the jojeh kebab (chicken) was so tender and the Persian rice saffron was so tasty I never want to eat any other rice again. The atmosphere of this little gem is totally amazing I want to live upstairs. all my friends say there experience was also amazing they have even made booking for their family to try. well I could go on raving about it you just go check it out yourself!!! Actually want to go to Iran now if the food and people are as wonderful as Pomegranate restaurant is!

Chris and Rachel U. Many times!!

We are a little single-minded...so once we have found somewhere we like..we don't seem to deviate!! If we are eating out...then its The Pomegranite. How they make chicken, rice and salad taste sooo good is a mystery...but they do. Everything about the place is good.....go on..treat yourself!!

Delicious food, super atmosphere, very enjoyable and will certainly visit again. Have already recommended to friends. So good to eat food prepared with pride and skill...real ingredients = real food, not some nasty pre prepared corporate blandness. Well done Pomegranate!

Visted this restaurant for the first time- for my birthday, with family. Had a very welcoming, chilled atmosphere and a great place to spent time with family/friends over good food, drinks and conversation! ;) It was my first try of Persian food, and I must admit it left me quite impressed!...

We have visited Pomegranate following few recommendations and we were very satisfied. The food is fresh and the taste is outstanding. Restaurant is very clean and atmosphere is very welcoming. The decor is authentic with beautiful mosaic lamps and music is lovely and very relaxing. It is well worth a visit. We will be back soon!!

I came to eat at your restaurant last Wednesday night. The food was excellent, portions just right and great value for money. I had the warm roast vegetables with feta cheese, balsamic and pomegranate dressing and i can honestly say it was one of the nicest starters I've ever had. Thank you all at Pomegranate.

Went to this little restaurant recently with friends. Had not pre booked, but on a busy friday night we were quickly seated. The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the prawns to start, delicious and light, no heavy greasy sauces in sight, served with warm persian flat bread, wonderful. My main meal was the chicken and lamb kebab, it is cooked on a skewer but not served on a skewer, chicken and lamb cooked to perfection, tender and juicy.... It came on a large serving platter with an abundance of fluffy rice, beautifully fresh salad (not swimming in oil) and grilled vegetables. I felt like i was holidaying in the med for a moment. With 2 soft drinks, my bill came to £20.00. The restaurant is very intimate, warm and glowing, lovely soft candle light and a really nice low key atmosphere. The staff looked after us very well indeed. All in all, we had a lovely relaxing, calm evening meal. Had i looked at this restaurant on trip advisor before i went i probably would have not chose to dine there because i did not know what persian food was? Let me tell you, if you like clean food like i do, i.e, chicken, not breaded or deep fried in a sauce you will love pom, if you enjoy lightly grilled vegetables and beautiful fresh salads, prepared and presented beautifully you will love pom... If you need chips and ketchup with your meal, dont chose pom... It was a really nice experience, try it, i love persian food now....(Visited October 2012)

Thank you to all at Pomegranate for making our Silver Wedding Anniversary Celebration lunch last Sunday a special occasion. Delicious food, excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere. Some of our guests were sceptical about the menu being Persian but all thoroughly enjoyed what they had chosen. Again, many thanks.

When we first came across Pomegranite, it was at West Fest, the West Didsbury Festival where they had a stall. It wasn't the best way to try it, as they had to prepare big dishes which sat around during the day of festivities, but when we tried it the other night, the meal was really superb.

They make a lot of use of pomegranite, both fresh ,and in sauces, and walnuts, again, in sauces and for crunch. The dishes I chose were subtle, sumptuous and beautifully prepared.

My young son, aged nine, would not have liked those, but his lamb dish was tender, moist, flavoursome and without any of the pepperings and strong over flavours that can put children off. He ate the lot and declared it his favourite restaurant.

I always feel restaurant reviewers who claim to be too full for a dessert don't deserve being paid by their editors. Sadly, I had a meeting, and we really didn't have time for dessert, but there was a whole range, and I felt they'd be as good as the mains.

This is a fine little restaurant. Spotless, friendly staff and when my father and a friend visited on recommendation the following week, both reported back how good it was too.

Not cheap - but then why should it be - and a fraction of the over-priced city centre joints serving largely mediocre fayre. Definitely one to try.

Superb food and decor. The best Persian restaurant in South Manchester. Absolutely loved it. Fesenjoon was excellent. 5 stars for food and service.
